my 4 year old daughter wants a pram for Christmas. Are the "pretend" looking prams safer and longer lasting than the "realistic" looking prams? The realistic ones seem to come with all sorts of fancy covers and clip on fabric covered accessories which look very nice when new, but will get juice spilled onto them, and chocolate fingerprints etc. almost as soon as it's out of the box!

What are people's experiences here?
